My journey with Inspiring Movement came for just that, inspiring physical movement in my clients. I am a kinesiologist by trade, which is someone who specializes in human movement. I have been doing this for about 10 years and while I am still inspired by movement I started to think I wanted to do something more. I am now a wife and mother of two, I feel that really changed my perspective on life. I am a minimalist and a pretty simple person at heart, I can’t tell you how many times I said to my husband “I’m simple, it’s the little things that count”. As I evolved through my life process I also began to want to challenge another side of me – my creative side. Each year in January, thanks to my very good friend, Melissa, I began a yearly ritual of dedicating my coming year to a word. Meaning that this word would be my theme for the year to better myself and to ultimately better my life. I’ve been doing this for years now, some years I was more successful than others at achieving a “better” self.
